5 Most Expensive Signings In Premier League History

This summer, Manchester City has signed Erling Haaland and Liverpool has signed Darwin Nunez from Benfica. On the other hand, both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have signed Ivan Perisic and Vieira respectively. Signing each of these players, the clubs paid a particular amount for the player, and some of these deals have been rated as one of the most expensive signings in Premier League history.

Liverpool signed Darwin Nunez with a transfer fee of £85.4 million, and thus, he became Premier League’s fifth most expensive signing in the league’s history. Thus, given this, we will be seeing the “all-time” most expensive signings in Premier League history.

Before Lukaku played for Chelsea, he once played for Everton in the Premier League. Thus, Manchester United signed him from Everton with a transfer fee of £90 million, and his deal became the 4th most expensive signing in the league’s history.

This means that two Premier League clubs have spent a huge amount of money on Lukaku.

5. Darwin Nunez
