Premier League club, Newcastle United had announced the appointment of new sporting director, Dan Ashworth.

The oil-rich club announced the appointment in their official handle, welcoming Dan Ashworth to the club to take upclub’s sporting director role.

The statement read: “An agreement has been reached with Brighton & Hove Albion to release him from his current contractual obligations with immediate effect.”

Dan Ashworth will be tasked with providing intellectual advise to the team as they prepare to compete in the Premier League.

Paris Saint-Germain has officially triggered the €40M buy option clause for Nuno Mendes.
