The 2022/23 summer transfer window is in its third week after officially opening for transfer businesses on June 10th, 2022.
So far, so many transfer deals have officially been completed by different clubs in and around Europe. In this article we will be looking at the starting XI of the top transfers completed this summer so far. This starting XI is based on how the transfers trended.
Goalkeeper: Nick Pope is the goalkeeper in the post after he completed his move from Burnley to Newcastle for a reported fee of £10 million.
Defenders: The team defence will be comprised of the following players: Nuno Mendes, Diego Carlos, Rüdiger, and Kristensen after they join PSG, Aston Villa, Real Madrid, and Leeds United respectively.
Midfielders: Sadio Mane, Tchouameni, Gravenberch, and Fábio Vieira will play in the team midfield.
Attack: The team’s attack will be led by two of the most sought-after strikers in the transfer market, Erling Haaland and Darwin Nunez. Manchester City signed Erling Haaland this summer, while Darwin Nunez was signed by Liverpool this summer too.
