Manchester City secured a comfortable win in their crucial Premier League clash against Newcastle at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
It was an impressive performance from Pep Guardiola’s men and the manager would be very pleased with the outcome of the contest.
Manchester City started the game brightly as they dominated possession and created a couple of good chances in the opening stages of the game.
Raheem Sterling gave Manchester City the lead with a sublime header from close range before Laporte doubled the lead right before the end of the first 45 minutes.
Goals from Rodri, Sterling, and Foden in the second half sealed a comfortable win for Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s team are now three points ahead of Liverpool on the Premier League table with just three more games to play.
Liverpool would have to win their remaining games of the season and hope Pep Guardiola’s team drops three points before the end of the season.
We will take a look at Manchester City’s last three games of the season compared to Liverpool’s:
-Wolves Vs Manchester City
–West ham Vs Manchester City
-Manchester City Vs Aston Villa
– Aston Villa Vs Liverpool
– Southampton Vs Liverpool
– Liverpool Vs Wolves
Manchester City are clearly in a good position to win the Premier League title this season but we can’t possibly rule out Liverpool’s chances just yet.
Pep Guardiola might drop some points before the end of the season considering the quality of teams they are set to play against. Wolves and West Ham are counter-attacking teams and Manchester City could struggle to pick all three points against them.
Jurgen Klopp might still win the Premier League title this season because West Ham and Wolves would be tough nuts to crack for Pep Guardiola’s team.
