This is no doubt an upgrade on the squad as Ten Hag looks to add more talents to his attacking department, especially with the uncertainty surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo.

Alongside Frankie De Jong, Antony has been on Manchester United’s radar for a long time and he will finally be uniting with his former boss, Ten Hag.

Manchester United Possible Lineup With Antony

With Cristiano Ronaldo looking more likely to leave the club after starting just one game out of Manchester United’s 4 games so far, Antony will not only give Ten Hag options but also quality.

It’s also expected that Manchester United’s new superstar, Casemiro would claim a starting spot when they face Leicester during the week.

Goalkeeper: DAVID DE GEA

Despite the fact that Manchester United are looking for a second-choice goalie, De Gea is still the first choice and he is expected to remain so until further

notice.

Defense: DIEGO DALOT, RAPHAEL VARANE, LISANDRO MARTINEZ, AND TYRELL MALACIA

The back four of Dalot, Varane, Martinez, and Malacia have undoubtedly been brilliant for the Red Devils since they played Liverpool.

They’ve so far conceded 1 goal and kept one clean sheet in their last two games.

There’s also a chance that Harry Maguire would stake a claim for a starting spot but with the current form of Martinez and Varane, there’s little chance that will happen.

Midfield: CASEMIRO, CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN, AND BRUNO FERNANDES

Casemiro came off the bench during their win against Southampton and performed really well.

However, the Brazilian will likely be the first-choice defensive midfielder ahead of Fred and McTominay and he could be partnered by Fernandes and Eriksen.

Attack: ANTONY, MARTIAL AND SANCHO

During the last two games, Elanga has started ahead of Ronaldo but with the arrival of Antony, Elanga could give way.

Martial could be played as a striker when fit but when not fit, Rashford could be played instead while Antony and Sancho will occupy the right and left wings.
