Some of Laliga best players are expected to leave their clubs this summer. So, let’s take a look at four top Spanish players who are expected to switch clubs this summer.

Memphis Depay

The Dutchman wants to stay at Camp Nou, but his contract with the club he joined last summer is coming to an end. Barcelona will not allow this to happen, so either his contract is renewed or he is sold for a fee during the close season. According to recent reports, Barcelona could use the Dutchman as part of a package to entice Sevilla to let Jules Kounde leave the club.

Jules Kounde

After fighting off rival interest for the past two years, Sevilla has accepted that the Frenchman will leave the Sanchez-Pizjuan this summer. Barcelona and Chelsea appear to be the frontrunners for his signature, though the latter appears to have recently shifted their attention to Juventus center-back Matthijs de Ligt. The main issue for Barcelona is putting together the right financial package.

Dani Ceballos

The Andalusian midfielder was a key member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad toward the end of the 2021/22 season, even appearing in the Champions League final victory over Liverpool. However, with Real Madrid’s signing of Aurelien Tchouameni, it’s clear that he’ll struggle for opportunities next season. It is possible that he will return to Real Betis.

Frenkie de Jong

Barcelona is currently in talks with Manchester United to sell the Dutchman for a fee of €85 million plus add-ons. De Jong joined Barcelona from Ajax in the summer of 2019 after playing for the team that reached the Champions League semi-finals that season, only to lose to Tottenham Hotspur. But he hasn’t been able to replicate the form that earned him the promotion.

These four top Laliga players are expected to switch clubs this summer.
