It looks like, for the second time in his career, Paul Pogba is going to leave Manchester United on a free transfer and join Juventus this summer.
That affects Chelsea in a number of ways, in particular when it comes to their own midfielder Jorginho. He’s been long linked with a move to Juve, and given the Italian side aren’t the big spenders they once were, signing Pogba could well be seen as shutting down chances of a move.
Not according to Football Italia. they write that the Old Lady are still interest in Jorginho even if the Pogba moves goes through, doubling down on midfield reinforcements.
Not only that, they add that Angel Di Maria is another target who could join Juventus’ attempt to recapture Serie A next season. If they’re aiming that high, maybe a big bid for Jorgi isn’t as unlikely as it seemed just a short few weeks ago.
