“Let’s be realistic” – Thomas Tuchel gives honest take on a Chelsea comeback vs Real Madrid

Chelsea will be off in the direction of Spain today as they prepare for their Champions League quarter-final match against Real Madrid.

The Blues are 3-1 down from the first leg at Stamford Bridge last week and they somewhat have a mountain to climb if they are to stand any chance of going through to the semi-finals.

Thomas Tuchel was very upfront after the game and basically ruled Chelsea out of the tie altogether, playing down their chances. At the time he was very frustrated about the game and it was one of the most frustrated we had seen him at Chelsea so far.

So has he now had a chance to reflect some more and have a re-think about Chelsea’s chances on Tuesday?

Well, he has, but he is still being super realistic in assessing our chances this week, as reported below.

Although he says ‘everything is still possible’, he’s also being realistic.
