Barça are still struggling to register all their players before Saturday’s LaLiga opener against Rayo Vallecano. At the club they are optimistic, although in the sporting area they admit some concern and explain that everything is very tight.
While waiting to register the five new signings: Christensen, Kessié, Raphinha, Lewandowski and Koundé and the two renewed players: Sergi Roberto and Dembélé, Barça announced a few hours ago the new numbers of Pjanic (16) and Memphis (14).
According to SPORT, In LaLiga there are only seventeen players registered in the blaugrana squad, although three of them do not have a jersey number yet. They are Nico, who is already at Valencia, where he will play on loan, Umtiti and Braithwaite. The latter two players have been ruled out by Xavi Hernandez and are expected to leave before the market closes.
The players currently registered are: Ter Stegen (1), Dest (2), Piqué (3), Araujo (4), Jordi Alba (18), Eric Garcia (24), Umtiti (no number), Busquets (5), Pedri (8), Pjanic (16), Frenkie de Jong (21), Nico (no number), Ferran Torres (11), Ansu fati (10), Memphis (14), Aubameyang (17) and Braitwaite (no number).
The squad does not include players such as Gavi, Balde and Abde, who can start the championship with the reserve team. Neither do Iñaki Peña and Collado. The latter is also on the exit ramp.
