LIV 2-0 CRY: Liverpool returns to winning ways after their last humiliating 4-0 defeat to Man United


Jurgen Klopp led Liverpool side were in action yesterday in a club friendly against Crystal Palace at the Singapore National Stadium which was their second pre-season game ahead of the new campaign which is set to kick-off in August.


The Reds in the game yesterday were able to make a return to winning ways after their last humiliating and disappointing four goals to nil defeat to Manchester United at Bangkok.

The Jurgen Klopp‘s side opened the scoring sheet in the 12th minute with a goal from Jordan Henderson to make it one nil which was the only goal that separated the two sides going into the half time break.

The Merseyside club in the second half were able to be in the right shape after making some few changes in the game with substitute Mohamed Salah getting on the score sheet in the 46th minute, as he made an immediate impact after his introduction which made it two goals to nil.


After every other attempts from both sides to add more to the tally of the game, all proved abortive as it ended two goals to nil at full time.

Liverpool having been able to get their form back on track will then be looking forward to continuing the winning streaks in their next game as they prepared more harder ahead of the new campaign.
