Barcelona has confirmed the termination of Neto’s contract with the club. The Brazilian spent three seasons with the club after joining the Catalans from La Liga rivals Valencia in 2019.
The former Juventus goalkeeper joined Premier League side AFC Bournemouth after his contract was terminated by the Blaugranas.
Barcelona released an official statement on their website to confirm the termination of Neto’s contract with the club.
“FC Barcelona and Norberto Murara, professionally known as Neto, have reached an agreement to terminate the player’s contract that bound him to the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.
“FC Barcelona wishes to publicly thank Neto for his commitment and dedication and wishes him every success in the future.
“Neto came to Barça in the summer of 2019 and on December 10 of the same year made his official debut in a 2-1 win in the Champions League away to Inter Milan.
In total, the Brazilian goalkeeper appeared in 21 games, keeping a clean sheet in six of them.”
