Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed his frustration with Spurs tactics following Liverpool‘s 1-1 draw at Anfield on Saturday Evening. He went ahead to express his disappointment saying he don’t like the kind of football played by Spurs and should have given more to the game. Spurs has 36 percent of ball possession and got everyone defending on Saturday evening.
The Liverpool boss said his boys are disappointed more than him even though they expect Tottenham to be set up that way. He stressed that Atletico Madrid plays in the same way too and got everyone at the back with quality players to break through on the counter attack.
The match was extremely difficult for Liverpool after Son scored earlier in the second half but Luiz Diaz levelled late on the game as Spurs ended Liverpool’s 12 game winning streak at Anfield. However, Liverpool missed the chance to ahead of Manchester City at the top of premier League table with City playing Newcastle on Sunday.
