Liverpool FC have been linked with a move to sign some players lately, in an attempt to build their squad ahead of next season.
However, the Reds want to add depth to their midfield unit as they were linked with a move for one of Barcelona’s midfielders.
The 17-year-old midfielder recently appeared on Liverpool‘s radar and the Reds are ready to make an offer to Barcelona to secure the signing of the player.
According to reports, Jurgen Klopp’s priority is to sign a 17-year-old Barcelona player and Liverpool FC are willing to pay £42.5million to hire his services.
The 17-year-old is a versatile midfielder who has established himself as a regular first-team player under the tutelage of Hernandez Xavi.
With a year left on Gavi’s deal at Nou Camp, Barcelona offered him a contract extension, but the youngster has refused to pen down a fresh term with the Blaugrana.
Therefore, FC Barcelona needs to cash in on him this summer, to avoid losing him for free in 2023.
