REPORT: Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas set to join in an Italian club

Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas is set to join in a new club. Serie B club Como 1907 are set to sign Cesc Fabregas.

Cesc Fabregas, who left French club Monaco at the end of last season, is now a free agent. Fabregas and the Italian second division club have reportedly agreed a verbal contract.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, 35-year-old Fabregas will sign with Como on a two-year contract until June 2024.

There are also reports that Fabregas will arrive in Italy in August and undergo a medical test. Fabregas was one of the best midfielders of all time.

Cesc Fabregas

Fabregas started his club career in 2003 with English Premier League club Arsenal. Then, the Spanish star, who played in Arsenal’s midfield for 8 years, joined Spanish giants Barcelona in 2011.

Fabregas also shined in Barcelona’s midfield alongside Xavi and Iniesta. After three seasons, Fabregas left Barcelona and returned to the English Premier League.

 

This time, Fabregas went to Chelsea. Fabregas stayed at Chelsea from 2014 to 2019 before moving to French club Monaco.

 

Fabregas made his international debut for Spain in 2006 and has scored 15 international goals in 110 appearances. In 2016, the player retired from international football.
