REPORTS: Chelsea Edging Closer to Signing First Summer Signing

In spite of Roman Abramovic’s threats, Chelsea’s purchase was finalized on Monday, and reports indicate that the Stamford Bridge club may now sign their “dream signings” and extend player contracts.

As a result of a huge departure of his best players, Thomas Tuchel is apparently trying to land his goals in the summer transfer window. Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Marcos Alonso, Cesar Azpilicueta, and Romelu Lukaku are all set to leave the club. Romelu Lukaku is also expected to leave.

According to the Sun, the Blues are getting closer to completing a trade for French forward and Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele, with the 25-year-old player favouring a move to the Premier League. Dembele now plays for Barcelona.

Tuchel views Dembele as the perfect improvement for the failing Timo Werner and the wantaway midfielder Hakim Ziyech. This is due to the fact that Dembele has been connected with Chelsea for a long time.

In addition to Dembele, the Blues are interested in acquiring defender Jules Kounde of Sevilla and striker Pau Torres of Villarreal. However, Torres is anticipated to sign with Manchester United rather than the Blues.
