REPORTS: West Ham United prepare transfer bid to sign Chelsea forward when transfer window opens

Without much doubts, several Premier League clubs will most definitely be on the lookout for new signings to improve their current squad when the transfer window opens.

One of them is Chelsea football club. The West London club have been quite impressive for the most part of the 2021/2022 season and are currently occupying the 3rd position on the Premier League table.

But with the likes of Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta and Antonio Rudiger set to leave the club, it seems more players are in line to leave the Stamford Bridge next summer.

And if reports are anything to go by, then young Chelsea striker Armando Broja could be on his way out of the club on a permanent deal when the transfer window opens.

The 20-year-old Albania International, who joined the Chelsea academy back in 2018 has found it difficult to break into the Chelsea first-team squad over the previous seasons.

The young centre-forward was sent out on loan to Vitesse during the 2020/2021 season where he scored 11 goals and created three assists in 34 appearances in all competitions.

Armando Broja has also continued in his goalscoring form while on loan at Southampton this 2021/2022 season, scoring nine goals and providing one assist in 37 matches.

His impressive performances in front of goal while on loan at Southampton is believed to have caught the attention of West Ham United and according to reports from Daily Mail, the Premier League side want to sign Armando Broja on a permanent deal.

The reports further claimed that West Ham United are really interested in Armando Broja and are now preparing summer transfer move for him next summer.

It is believed that West Ham United manager David Moyes wants to add more firepower to his attacking options next summer and he has identified Armando Broja as a needed addition.

But then, it remains to be seen if Chelsea will be willing to do business with West Ham United and cash in on Armando Broja when the summer transfer window opens.
