Tammy was born into a Christian family of Mr and Mrs Bakumo Abraham, his Dad hails from the popular Ijaw Tribe, Yenagoa Bayelsa State, Nigeria.
Tammy’s dad moved to the United Kingdom in search of a better life for himself and his family.
Tammy has just one male sibling called Timmy.
The 24-year-old striker is Engaged to his long time girlfriend Leah Monroe.

After a lengthy battle with Arsenal vying for his signature, Tammy’s boyhood club, Chelsea was able to secure his youth signature.
He turned down Arsenal in order to join Chelsea and follow in the footsteps of Didier Drogba. On his first day at the club, he had an early brush with the African legend.
According to Tammy,
“The first player I came across was Didier Drogba. I remember walking outside the academy and I was cold.
He saw me outside and picked me up in his car and dropped me at the training ground. I was eight or nine.
As soon as I got out of the car I was looking for my teammates to say, That’s Drogba, but I didn’t see anyone!”
Tammy was a member of the Chelsea youth side that won the youth league and the FA youth cup back to back in 2015 and 2016.
While on loan at Bristol City in January 2017, Abraham was involved in a car crash. He was accused of driving without a license or insurance at the time of the accident and was brought to court as a result. In March of that year, he received his driver’s license after passing the exam.
He had an excellent season there, winning the club’s Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season, and top goalscorer accolades in a single season, making him the first player to achieve so.
Abraham was sent to Swansea City on loan, however the club was relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season. In 2018, Tammy inked his signature for Aston Villa and became the first player in the club’s history to score 25 goals in a single season since 1977.
Abraham, a former England junior international, played for the national team from the age of 18 and competed in the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Poland. In November 2017, he made his senior international bow.
