Among the best forwards in football history are Ronaldo Nazario of Brazil and Manchester United‘s Cristiano Ronaldo. They have both played on and conquered the European elite level, with both having played for a variety of different clubs.
While playing for clubs like AC Milan, Real Madrid, Ajax, Barcelona, and Inter Milan, Nazario made an indelible mark on the sport. However, the Portuguese legend also boasts silverware from his time with Manchester United, Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid, and Juventus.
Both players have had very successful professional football careers, but while the Brazilian legend is now retired, the Portuguese superstar Ronaldo is currently playing at the highest level for Manchester United in the Premier League.
But there is one man in football history who has shared the field with both of these legendary scorers. Only former Real Madrid and AC Milan attacker Ricardo Kaka has played alongside both Ronaldos.
Kaka and Nazario played together not just for the Brazil national team, but also with AC Milan for a season. During the 2007–08 club season, when Ronaldo had recently left Real Madrid, Kaka and he played together.
Kaka and Ronaldo were also regular teammates for the Brazilian national team, and both were instrumental in the country’s 2002 World Cup victory.
From 2009 to 2013, when Ronaldo moved to Real Madrid from AC Milan, Kaka was a teammate of the Portuguese forward. When Cristiano Ronaldo moved from Manchester United to Los Blancos, it was during this same transfer window.
After four years together at Real Madrid, Kaka’s career was derailed by injuries and he never recovered. The Brazilian was fortunate to have shared the field with two great Ronaldos.
