Barcelona set to complete new signing
According to Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are now very close to completing the signing of Jules Koundé from Sevilla. A verbal agreement is now in place with Sevilla after the long saga and further negotiations today.
All that is left is for the paperwork to be signed. An official announcement is imminent. Jules Koundé agreed to personal terms with Barça last weekend. The contract is ready. Xavi was a key factor in persuading the player.
Barça still interested in signing Chelsea star
Barcelona are still interested in signing Chelsea star, César Azpilicueta. Fabrizio Romano reported that Barcelona have confirmed again to César Azpilicueta their intention to reopen negotiations with Chelsea to sign him.
No full agreement between both clubs yet, as Tuchel would love to keep him but Barcelona will try again after completing the Koundé deal.
As Roma are in negotiations for Wijnaldum
AS Roma and Paris Saint-Germain are in direct contact for the signing of Gini Wijnaldum. All parties are keen on completing the move but there’s still work to be done on personal terms with the player.
Wijnaldum also has other proposals but he’s now giving priority to Roma as his preferred destination.
Rúben Vinagre joins Everton
It’s official and confirmed. Rúben Vinagre joins Everton on a season-long loan deal from Sporting. The transfer has been confirmed by the club. A buy option clause is included in the deal. Everton will cover his full salary until June 2023.
