Tuchel Confirms Star Will Leave The Club After Narrow Win Over West Ham

Chelsea hosted London rivals, West Ham and narrowly defeated David Moyes side through a 90th winner from Christian Pulisic. The game saw Jorginho miss a penalty in the dying minutes of the game after Romelu Lukaku was brought down by Craig Dawson.

Just after the game, Chelsea’s manager, Thomas Tuchel disclosed in his post match interview that one of his key men, Antonio Rudiger will be leaving the club.

In his statement, he said, “He wants to leave the club. He informed me in a private talk. We gave everything but we could not fight anymore because of the actions”

The manager went on to further say, “Rüdiger will leave as we can’t compete because of the sanctions. But now we don’t take it personally. It’s his decision”.

Chelsea will now lose both Rüdiger and Christensen this summer. Christensen will join Barcelona, while Rüdiger is in advanced talks with Real Madrid.

Do you think it is a right decision to allow Rudiger leave as they can’t sign any player? Drop your thoughts in the comment section and don’t forget to share. Thank you
