Liverpool will be aiming to book a spot in the finals of this year’s UEFA Champions League when they square off against Villarreal on Tuesday night.

The Reds will be going into the contest off the back of their 2-0 win in the first leg of the encounter, and they will be hoping to avoid a defeat against Villarreal on Tuesday, which will be enough to take them to the finals.

The English Premier League giants will be going into the game against Villarreal in high spirits following their 1-0 victory over Newcastle United in their last game in the English Premier League.

Roberto Firmino is still nursing the injury he picked up a few weeks ago and he will not be available for selection on Tuesday against Villarreal.

Divock Origi missed Liverpool‘s last English Premier League game due to illness, but he has resumed training with the team ahead of their trip to Spain.
