The current Chelsea squad has shown that they need massive improving in all aspects of the team in the upcoming transfer window.
Coming from winning the Champions League title last season, Chelsea only added two new players to their squad, with a club record signing of Romelu Lukaku and a one year loan deal of Niguez Saul from Atletico Madrid.
Injuries affected the Chelsea squad in the middle of the season, and playing almost 60 games so far this season also affected some of their top players, and showed why the team needs more reinforcement in the next transfer window.
Some Chelsea players are also expected to leave the club at the end of this season, which would prompt a move for a replacement in the transfer window.
The Chelsea new owners would be hoping to start the new era on a good note, by spending so much funds on new players.

1. Two New Defensive Players
With Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger set to leave Chelsea at the end of this season, Chelsea would need a minimum of two new defensive players to replace them.
The number of defenders Chelsea could buy in the next transfer window could also increase, if the likes of Marcos Alonso, Cesar Azpilicueta and Malang Sarr decides to leave the club, which means they would need to spend more on defensive reinforcement.
2. Two New Central Midfielders
Reports claims that Thomas Tuchel is looking to revamp his midfield options next season, with Conor Gallagher likely to return to fight for a midfield spot after an impressive loan spell with Crystal palace.
Thomas Tuchel could look to clear out some midfield players this summer, which could includes the likes of Ross Barkley, Jorginho who’s contract expires at the end of next season, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Midfield options that has been linked with a move to Chelsea includes Declan Rice of West Ham, and Aurelien Tchouameni of Monaco.
3. One New Attacker
The Chelsea attack haven’t been the best this season, with most of their attacking players misfiring all season, Thomas Tuchel could look to reinforce his attack next season, with Romelu Lukaku likely to leave after failing to impress this season.
